Walk in your Light - Live with Complete Trust in Spirit
Thursday, February 18th 7pm $25

This is part of a series of ongoing classes I teach intended to enhance your spiritual awareness that will increase your trust in Spirit on a daily basis. Bring your questions you have longed to have answers to. Unlike an academic class, these spiritually guided classes can change your life. Learn how to integrate these spiritual teachings into your life at home, work, with family and friends.

As conscious beings, we are here to shine our inner lights as we walk in Grace. After all, we come to earth to enhance their human experience and live in joy rather than fear. When we do not have trust in ourselves and trust in Spirit, we become fearful and insecure and fall back on old patterns. We search for truth about ourselves and ways to live what it is that we strive for and call “our personal best.” This usually equates to happiness, abundance, joy, and our ability to love ourselves and receive love from others. Even if that means, it takes some reruns to actually get the lesson and put it into daily practice, we continue to respect and honor ourselves as we transform the old patterns.

We will practice various ways of spiritual reconnection, so we may begin using new programs that honor us and help us move forward. Learn to live in the now and embrace each moment with gratitude. www.GoddessofSpirit.com

Film: For The Next 7 Generation
Thursday, March 4th 7pm donation

In 2004, thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers from all four corners, moved by their concern for our planet, came together at a historic gathering, where they decided to form an alliance: The International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers. This is their story.

Four years in the making and shot on location in the Amazon rainforest, the mountains of Mexico, North America, and at a private meeting with the Dalai Lama in India. For the Next 7 Generations follows what happens when these wise women unite. Facing a world in crisis, they share with us their visions of healing and a call for change now, before it’s too late.

This film documents their unparalleled journey and timely perspectives on a timeless wisdom.

Crossing the Bridge of the Billy Goats’Gruff
From Self-Betrayal to Self-Recovery
Presented by Shari David, MFT
When: Saturday 3/13/10 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm  Cost: $30.00

Our relationships fundamentally shape every aspect of our lives. If they’re enriching and nurturing, the quality of our lives will be gratifying. If, instead, they’re a source of struggle and conflict, life can be pretty painful. This workshop is for people who practice people pleasing, caretaking, or controlling, feel injured, then blame, only to chronically repeat the pattern.

    • Do you “give ‘til it hurts”?
    • Do you have trouble saying “no” and end up feeling used and abused?
    • Do you think people should naturally do the right thing and feel hurt and disappointed when they don’t?
    • Are you afraid to set boundaries, or feel guilty if you do, even when you know it’s best for you?
    • Are you “just trying to help” and can’t understand why you end up angry and frustrated?
    • Do you constantly take care of everyone but yourself and end up feeling unappreciated and taken for granted?
    • Do you try so hard to please that you forget who you are?

In this workshop, you’ll learn Practical Actions to help you stop the pattern of self-betrayal and gain true self-empowerment. There’s just one tiny little thing…you have to walk across the Bridge of the Billy Goats’ Gruff and brave the trolls that live underneath.

Don’t worry…even though they’ll try to terrorize you into abandoning Practical Action, these trolls have no teeth! You must face them! You can’t avoid them! But I promise—they only seem dangerous. Attend this workshop to learn how to defeat them so that you can create a healthy relationship with the most important person in your life…YOU!

About Shari David: As a licensed psychotherapist in California for a couple of decades, I specialized in codependency, addictions, anxiety disorders and relationship problems. Regardless of the issues people came to me to solve, I noticed that virtually all of us (I include myself) are prone to particular self-defeating pattern that seems to take on a life of its own. I also discovered the reasons it’s so hard to change it! In this workshop, I’ll be teaching the very method I developed to help my clients create new and healthy patterns of relating.
