The Lesson
~ by Bruce Roller~

There are many different people that inhabit the Earth. We punish some for the actions they choose and praise others for theirs. We have based our lives on a “right” and “wrong” standard. If someone does something a majority finds wrong then they are punished. We have laws to help society abide by this. When you break everything down to a learning lesson we cannot make good or bad decissions all we can make are choices and by every choice we make we will learn something from that. So whether we are stopped by making some learning choices because a law prohibits us from doing it then we must understand that some souls need the lesson in their actions and do them regardless of punishment. So criminals for example, haven’t they learned some of the lessons we could only dream of learning? They have through every effort disregarded the law to learn their lesson they have broken societies taboo to better themselves spiritually. Now take a murderer for example has he not learned some lesson in doing that? You cannot say what that lesson is unless you are a murderer yourself or if he has shared his lesson with you. Then also think hasn’t the victim also learned a lesson? Again we can only guess. Think hard and learn all your lessons and put them to use. To all of you I am not in any manner telling you to break the law or to do something rash, but am trying to open your eyes to those who have and how that may change their lives.
