Sunday School

We encourage both parents and non-parent adults to volunteer!
The lessons are based on principles of everyday living, building life skills, rooted in spiritual truths (such as knowing the self, being responsible, relationships, etc.)

Whispers in the air carry the sounds of adventures past
Whose memory is found as paw prints in the earth.
An owl, an otter, with friends and foes alike.
All looking to grow, all seeking what's right.
The forest is alive and coming into its fullness.
The river is swelling, a blessing for all in its wake.
What is to befall those on this life path?
Here is where we find our hero and heroine.
This is their story, and you, make them come alive.
Silver Creek Falls
The rush of water,
the swish of ferns,
a bird calls in the distance,
all sounds of nature.
The sweet smell
of forest flowers
and the smell of rain
both smells of nature.
The calm safe
feeling you get
when you’re sheltered
by trees of many age
How long,
how long did it take
for these trees to grow?
A question of nature.
The rush of water
the swish of ferns
a bird calling in the distance
all sounds of the
beautiful Silver Creek Falls.

Wonders and Dreams
The world is filled with wonder,
Take lightening and distant thunder,
Take the sea of green,
Many things there are yet to be seen,
Yes, to fly was impossible and
Two men soared 100 years ago from now,
So don't dream,
Figure out how.
